Nati James, “La Nati,” is an artist « hors norme » flamenco dancer, choreographer is also a leading jazz and improvisational vocalist, composer and arranger. She has evolved in the Parisian jazz milieu and having graduated from Bill Evans Piano Academy, as well as having completed her BA in Music, and Musical Degree in Jazz (DEM), La Nati delivers the energy and the emotion of flamenco through her force and the beauty of her dance.

She has performed in a variety of prestigious venues across Paris (Sunside/ Cirque Romanès/ La Cigale/ New Morning), and in a wide variety of festivals in France (Arte Flamenco Festival-Mont de Marsan), Spain (Seville“Tablao Alvarez Quintero”/Ronda), US (NYC), Dubai, Ecuador, UK (Mela Festival), Holland Dance Festival ( Choreographer ”Shusaku”), Italy (Bolzano-Arte-Urban Sax), Morocco (Nomads Festival), Brasil (Semente-Rio/SP ), and Cyprus (Pafos Festival-Khoury Project). 

In 2016 She released her first Jazz flamenco fusion Album and limited edition vinyl, ¡Asín Sí!, with the “Nati James Orchestra” (Urban Records)- Jazz Flamenco fusion with twelve musicians.

Dancer in the Famous “Carmen” Opera in 2023 in France , in « La Traviata » staging by H. Brockhaus in Sferisterio- Macerata Opera Festival ( Italy), Nati James is invited  in « La Voz del Sur » Canal Sur TV
Program in Spain (Seville)  and « Culture Box » France 4 with the Minister of culture Rima Abdul Malak and Charles de Vilmorin.

Influenced by the greatest international flamenco dancers such as:

Juana Amaya, Farruquito, Antonio Canales, Carmen Ledesma, El Oruco, La Faraona, La Moneta, trained in “baile” flamenco during many years in Seville, she’s the winner of the second price of «Bulerias Competition» in Nîmes (under the auspices of José Galvan), Sensitive and deeply expressive, Nati James « La Nati » has collaborated with artists of high calibre such as José Mercé for the video clip of his last album “Oripando” (March 2022) with Mala Rodriguez & Tomatito. and also colaborated with Mia Frye, Blanca Li, Alaïa, Pepe Fernandez, Luis Dávila, Carine Bonnefoy & Large Ensemble, José Mendez, David Marin, Alex Conde, El Tremendo, José Antonio Acevedo, Gaël Rakotondrabe, Cristo Cortes, Fyty Carrillo, Jean-Baptiste Marino.
