Nati James a multidisciplinary artist realises her new creation SOLAR.
“Solar” is the danced incarnation of the path of inner transformation, a celebration of Joy and freedom. Poetic, luminous and powerful, “Solar” evokes the return to oneself – the essential initiatory journey in the life of a human being. “Solar” carries the colors of traditional flamenco mixed with modern sounds inspired by trance. Dialogue with a choreography based on research around light, “Solar” brings out for the dancer a time of mutation of the intimate, and of its hidden parts, which reveals and brings out its authenticity brought to the stage.

Led by composer, jazz singer and flamenco dancer Nati James, the Nati James Orchestra (NJO) explores the meeting point between flamenco and jazz, blending tradition with contemporary sounds.
Eight musicians from diverse cultural and musical backgrounds — F. Marzetti, N. Genest, L. Dávila, A. Garcia, D. Da Cruz, F. Nicolas, P. Carrié and J. Renard — come together around the powerful zapateado of Nati James, creating a vibrant universe of gypsy voices, jazz harmonies and flamenco rhythms.
From Tangojazz and poetic bulerías to rumba, salsa and the explosive improvisation of Bulduf, the original compositions move freely between intensity, poetry and celebration.
¡Asín Sí!, the NJO’s first album, brings together twelve musicians and a guest string quartet in a singular jazz-flamenco fusion where flamenco roots meet jazz freedom and contemporary creation.

Eight musicians, coming from diverse cultures and horizons, are led by the shot gun sharp footwork of La Nati, to transport the audience into the dynamic and colored universe of the Nati James Orchestra (Francesco Marzetti, Nicolas Genest, Luis Dávila, Alberto Garcia, Dimitri Da Cruz, Fabricio Nicolas, Pierre Carrié and Johan Renard).. The gypsy voices elevate the beauty, tragedy, energy and emotion of the dance through original compositions from “Tangojazz“, to the slow and poetic bulerias, to “zapateado”, rumbas salsas, until the explosive and improvised track,“Bulduf”.

Nati James performing Flamenco dance and Ludivine Issambourg on the beat box flute: A women duo who affirms its own identity through electroflamenco compositions. The two women mix hip hop techniques as beat box and loopers. From jazz to pop music, combined with percussive and scenic vibes of the “baile flamenco”, their two complementary universes come to produce an original and modern repertory.
